He was born on September 8, 1961 in the village of Mukiyivka, Bilopil district, Sumy region. In 1978 he graduated from the 10th grade at the Verkhosul Secondary School and entered the Malovystorop State Farm-Technical School named after PS Rybalko, who graduated in 1983 and received a degree in paramedic veterinary medicine. From 1983 to 1985 he worked as a veterinary assistant at the Peremoha collective farm in the Bilopil district.

From 1985 to 1990 he studied at the Sumy Agricultural Institute at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with honors. From 1990 to April 1994 he worked as the chief veterinarian of the state farm. Gorky Sumy district.

Since April 1994 he has been an assistant professor, since 1995 he has been a senior lecturer, and since 2000 he has been an associate professor, leading the General and Special Surgery course. He graduated from the Bila Tserkva State Agrarian University with a degree in veterinary surgery. He defended his dissertation in the specialized scientific council D 27.821.02 at Bila Tserkva State Agrarian University on the topic: “Changes in total protein, lipids and proteinase-inhibitory potential of synovial fluid and blood plasma in aseptic arthritis in horses.”
