Oleksandr Chekanwasborn on February 25, 1979 in Putivl, Sumy region area . After graduating from school he entered the Malovystorop State Agrarian Technical School in 1994 at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, which in 1998 graduated with honors and received qualification of veterinary paramedic medicine, this year he joined Sumy State Agrarian University at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, which in 2001 graduated with honors and received qualification doctor veterinary medicine
In November 2001 he entered the full-time graduate school Sumy National Agrarian University, specialty: 16.00.07 – veterinary obstetrics, scientific Head – Doctor of Science , Professor M.I. Kharenko, who graduated in May 2004. He defended on May 27, 2004 candidate dissertation on the topic: “ Diagnosis, prognosis and prevention postpartum pathology in sows”.
From September 2002 to December 2003 he worked as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Obstetrics and Surgery, from December 2003 to June 2004 – Assistant of the same department, since September 2004 associate professor of obstetrics and surgery, and since 2007 – associate professor of obstetrics.
In November 2001, he entered postgraduate studies at the Sumy National Agrarian University, specialty: 16.00.07 – veterinary obstetrics, scientific head- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Professor M.I. Kharenko, which he graduated in May 2004. On May 27, 2004, he defended his candidate’s thesis in the specialized academic council D. 35.286.01 at the Lviv State Academy of Veterinary Medicine named after S.G. Gzhitsky on the topic: “Diagnosis, forecasting and prevention of postpartum pathology in sows”.
Since September 2004, associate professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Surgery, and from 2007 to 2024, associate professor of the Department of Obstetrics.
In May 2024, he defended his candidate’s thesis in the specialized academic council D. 35.286.01 at the Lviv State Academy of Veterinary Medicine named after S.G. Gzhitskyi on the topic: “Scientific and practical substantiation of the correction of reproductive capacity due to infertility in cows caused by zearalenone and deoxynivalenol”
