Was born on June 08, 1954 in Liubotyn Kharkiv region. The higher education got at the veterinary faculty of Kharkiv zooveterinary institute in 1976. Since 1976 worked as the main veterinary doctor in the state farm, main veterinary doctor of anti-epizootic detachment of Kharkiv regional animal disease control station. 1978 – 1979 – service in the Armed Forces of the USSR.
From 1979 till 1983 worked as the doctor of bacteriological department of the Kharkiv regional research and production veterinary laboratory. From 1983 till 1987 worked on the Kharkiv biological factory as the main technologist, then as the foreman of the shop. In 1991 defended the thesis to obtain the degree of the candidate of veterinary sciences on the theme «Diagnosis of bovine tuberculosis under the influence of ionizing radiation» in specialty 16.00.03 (veterinary microbiology, virology, epizootology, immunology and mycology).
From 1990 till July 2006 worked in the Ukrainian scientific-research institute of experimental veterinary, later National scientific center Institute of experimental and clinical veterinary medicine where works as the junior research scientist, then scientific, senior research scientist and leading research scientist and then the head of the laboratory of learning young stocks’ diseases.
In December 2004 defended the thesis to obtain the degree of the doctor of veterinary sciences in specialty 16.00.03 (veterinary microbiology and virology) on the theme: «Variability of mycobacteria, epizootological monitoring, measures and means of combating tuberculosis in animals under radiation exposure». Since September 2006 till August 2020 was the head of the department of epizootology and parasitology of SNAU. Since September 2020 till present time is the professor of the epizootology and parasitology department.
Experience of pedagogical work in the higher educational institutions of III-IV level of accreditation is 18 years.
Main study disciplines: «Veterinary technologies for the prevention of infectious diseases of animals» and «Special epizootology».
Advanced training: the last one was in 2016 in Kharkiv State Zoo-Veterinary Academy.
State budget, economic contract grant themes: 2010 – 2014 «Epizootological monitoring and improvement of animal tuberculosis diagnostics» (number of state registration – 0110U007591). 2014 – 2019 theme is «Epizootological monitoring and improvement of animal tuberculosis diagnostics» (number of state registration – 0114U001561). 2015-2019 theme is «Creation of innovative tools for monitoring, diagnosis, forecasting and prevention of emergent and economically significant diseases in livestock, pigs, poultry, fish, animal husbandry and beekeeping based on cellular, molecular and nanotechnology» (number of state registration – 0115U001053).
Scientific research is carried out in accordance with the theme «Development Program «Optimization of the measures to prevent the occurrence and spread of infectious animal diseases in the farms of the North-Eastern region of Ukraine”, state registration number 0122U001254, 2022–2027.
