To involve students in research activities, the department has scientific circles "Epizoologist" and "Parasitologist".
Based on the results of the circles, articles are published annually and reports of circle members are heard at student scientific conferences.
In addition, the best works are submitted to student scientific paper competitions. In 2024, the work "Diagnostic criteria for detecting infectious peritonitis in cats" by 4th-year students Kostel Sofia and Shvets Iryna was submitted to the competition
