Was born on May 1, 1956 in novomykolayivka village, Sumy district, Sumy region.
1980 – 1985 – studying at the Kharkiv Zooveterinary Institute
1985 – 2000 – worked in the household as the chief vet physician.
2002-2007 – Assistant Professor of the Department of Therapy, Pharmacology and Clinical Diagnostics.
In 1997 he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic: “Zoohygienic assessment of polymeric floors for pig premises” in the specialty 16.00.08. – zoohygiene.
In 2013, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Sanitary and hygienic assessment of the safety and quality of milk of cows in the content of somatic cells” in the specialty 16.00.06 – animal hygiene and veterinary sanitation.
