Born in Kharkiv on March 30, 1956.

From 1964 to 1973, she studied at secondary school No. 88 in Kharkiv.

In 1973, she entered, and in 1978, she graduated with honors from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Kharkiv Zoo-Veterinary Institute.

From 1978 to 1980, she worked as a veterinary doctor at the Borky Research Farm of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Poultry. From 1980 to 1987, she worked in the Laboratory of Poultry Disease Prevention of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Poultry.

In 1984, she defended her PhD thesis at a meeting of the Specialized Academic Council of the Leningrad Veterinary Institute in the specialty 16.00.03 – Veterinary Microbiology, Virology, Epidemiology, Immunology and Mycology.

Since January 11, 1988, Associate Professor of the Department of Parasitology and Epidemiology of the Sumy National Agrarian University.

1996-2004 – Associate Professor of the Department of Virology, Pathology and Veterinary Examination;

2000 – 2001 – Commercial Director of the Sumy State Biological Factory part-time;

In 2003, she defended her doctoral dissertation at a meeting of the Specialized Academic Council at the Institute of Experimental and Clinical Veterinary Medicine of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, Kharkiv, specialty 16.00.03 – veterinary virology and microbiology.

2004 – 2005 – Professor of the Department of Virology, Pathology and Veterinary Expertise of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences;

2005 – 2007 – First Vice-Rector of Sumy National Academy of Sciences and Head of the Department of Veterinary Expertise, Microbiology and Animal Hygiene, part-time;

2007 – 2012 – Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of Sumy National Academy of Sciences and Head of the Department of Veterinary Expertise, Microbiology, Animal Hygiene and Safety and Quality of Livestock Products, part-time.

From 2012 to 2024, head of the Department of Veterinary Sanitation, Microbiology, Animal Hygiene and Safety and Quality of Livestock Products (from 2012 to 2014, she worked part-time as a research fellow at the Institute of Animal Husbandry of the NAAS).

Main academic disciplines: Veterinary Microbiology, Research in Veterinary Medicine, Methodology and Organization of Scientific Research, Modern Methods of Diagnosis and Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Veterinary Sanitation.

Research direction: solving the scientific problem of quality and safety of products of national production for both domestic consumption and export; theoretical, experimental and practical generalization of aspects of control of anthropozoonotic diseases of poultry based on the development and improvement of diagnostics, prevention and measures to combat poultry infections; searching for alternative means of prevention and treatment of poultry in order to obtain environmentally friendly, high-quality, safe products, free from residues of toxic substances, pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms.
