    • Quality and safety of agro-industrial products – study of legal bases of veterinary-sanitary examination, assessment of quality and safety of livestock products, ways of neutralization of conditionally suitable and dangerous products, complex of sanitary-hygienic, diagnostic and special researches of food products (meat products, lactic, lactic) and fish products) and raw materials of animal origin (meat, milk, fish) for the purpose of scientifically substantiated veterinary and sanitary assessment of the quality of these products.
“Veterinary-sanitary examination with the basics of technology and standardization of livestock products” The purpose of the discipline is to study a set of sanitary-hygienic, diagnostic and special studies of food (meat, milk, fish, eggs, honey) and raw materials (leather, wool) of animal products and plant origin for the purpose of scientifically substantiated veterinary and sanitary assessment of these products. Prevention of human diseases by anthropozoonoses and other diseases transmitted through livestock products.
    • “Quality and safety of livestock products” the purpose of the discipline is to study a set of sanitary and hygienic and special studies of food (meat, milk, fish, eggs) and raw materials (leather, wool) of animal origin in order to scientifically evaluate these products. Prevention of human diseases by anthropozoonoses and other diseases transmitted through livestock products.
    • “Veterinary Microbiology” the purpose of the discipline is to develop in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills in taxonomy, morphology, physiology, genetics and ecology of microorganisms, knowledge of the conditions of occurrence and course of infectious diseases and the mechanism of immunity, laboratory diagnostics, specific prevention and treatment of infectious diseases.
    • “Veterinary immunology” – the purpose of studying the discipline is to master the student’s knowledge about immunity, its varieties, factors that stimulate and suppress it. The student is provided with information on the use of vaccines, serums and other biological drugs, as well as methods of their use.
    • “Hygiene of farm animals” – the student’s mastery of the theoretical and practical basis of the impact of normal and abnormal environmental factors on the body of animals, zoohygienic standards and rules of keeping, feeding, watering, care and breeding of various groups of animals, methods of research and ways to improve it. Students must master the techniques of assessing the environment and the microclimate of the room, preventive methods of combating animal diseases.
