On November 29, a guest lecture was held at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine with the participation of guest lecturer Galat Maryna Vladyslavivna, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor of the Department of Pharmacology, Parasitology and Tropical Veterinary Medicine of the Ukrainian National University of Science and Technology, who is currently undergoing an internship at the Institute of Parasitology of the University of Bern (Switzerland). The lecture covered the issue of zoonotic parasitic disease of animals – toxoplasmosis, which is currently affecting the entire world community. In the presented material, questions regarding the morphology and biological features of the pathogen Toxoplasma gondii, modern methods of diagnosis of this disease were considered. Students and teachers of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine express their words of admiration and thanks to the lecturer for interesting and relevant research, as well as for high teaching skills
